Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
RYLA
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is Rotary's leadership program for young people. RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth, and aims to:
- Demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth
- Provide an effective training experience for selected youth and potential leaders
- Encourage leadership of youth by youth
- Recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities
The next RYLA conference is scheduled for January 11-13, 2013. RYLA will be held again this year at the Pineywoods Baptist Encampment. It is open to all high school juniors from Clear Creek, Clear Falls and Clear Springs High Schools. Applications are available from Bill Noland, RYLA Chair/Rotary Club of League City.
